Health Insurance

Coverage that fits how you use the health system.

Your medical coverage should fit where you live, which doctors you use, which medications you need and what costs you can take on. Bermeo Insurance reviews the individual and family options available, and the Marketplace where it applies.

How we review it

Five steps before you decide.

First we understand how you use the health system; then we compare the options available in your area.

  1. Family smiling outdoors
Every family uses the health system differently.

    Identify

    Who needs coverage?

    We review options for:

    • You
    • Your family
    • Marketplace (ACA) plans where they apply
    • Options outside the Marketplace, when they are actually available
  2. Family embracing at home
Understanding how you use your coverage is the first step to evaluating it.

    Understand

How you use the health system.

Before looking at plans, we review what you already use and what you need:

    • The doctors you already see

    • Prescription medications

    • Hospitals in your area

    • Preventive services

  3. Advisor explaining the options to a client
A low premium does not always mean the lowest cost over the year.

    Compare

    What is worth comparing.

The rules are not the same in every plan. We compare with you, plan by plan:

    • Monthly premium

    • Deductible

    • Copays and coinsurance

    • Provider network

    • Covered medications

    • Out-of-pocket maximum

  4. Man reviewing his health plan documents
In context: 23.0 million people selected 2026 coverage through the Marketplaces (CMS, 2026 OEP).

    Enroll on time

    Open Enrollment 2027.

On the federal Marketplace, open enrollment for 2027 coverage runs from November 1 to December 15, 2026. Outside that period, you can only enroll if you qualify for a special enrollment period.

    • November 1 to December 15, 2026

    • Special periods depending on your situation

  5. Family by the lake at sunset
Your sensitive information belongs in the secure enrollment process.

    Protect your data

Your authorization, through the right channel.

Before an agent can act on your Marketplace application or enrollment, CMS requires your authorization through its own process. The contact form on this site does not replace that authorization and will never ask for your Social Security number or immigration documents.

    • Sensitive data only through the secure channel

    • Authorization as CMS requires

    • Follow-up on renewals and changes

Your coverage should fit how you use the health system.

The information on this page is general and educational. Eligibility for tax credits or other help, and costs, depend on your income, your household, your state and the plan; not everyone qualifies for a $0 premium. Plans, networks, benefits and costs vary by insurer and service area. Enrollment dates refer to the federal Marketplace for 2027 coverage.
